depends on the situation.
"Ore" is a pretty informal first personal pronoun, and usually for guys only.

You can also use "Boku" (also usually for guys only) for semi-formal/informal situation.

Uhh, ん is just a stem, "-n." There's no efficient reason as to why it would be "-nn" over "-n." Secondly, romaji is strictly for interpretation; konnichiha is preferred.

One person I asked said rebu or revu, and the other said it would be reibuu.

The Hiragana there is a little off. You didn't use the particle は and you put "on'a" (おんあ) instead of "on'na" (おんな).
That's right if you like cute girls. I'm not exactly sure what age range "girl" covers and when it should become 女の人 (おんなのひと), though.

Actually, I recall reading somewhere that females CAN use it when they want to seem more manly. Thankfully, this isn't very often, especially in Japan.

I actually have a female friend who refers to herself as "boku"... It's more commonly used by women in the pop culture, I think.

Can someone explain why it is Mado no chikaku ni onna no ko ga imsau?

I don't get why it's no. I thought "no" was possessive, does the window own the girl or something.

I mean that's all my text tells me at least.

It's the same with, for example,

Tana no ue ni shashin ya hon ga arimasu.
There are picture, books(etc) on the shelf.

I can kinda understand this one, as the shelf sort of has the items on there. Same with,

Hako no naka ni kitte to hagaki ga arimasu.
There are stamps and postcards in the box

The items are in the box, the box has them? Is that the right way to think about it?

It doesn't make as much sense when you use the word "near" (understanding gets lost in translation), but think of if you had said "There is a girl in front of the window."

mado no tonari ni onna no ko ga imasu

Now, I don't know if you're aware but の can normally be translated in two ways, depending on context:

A　の　B

can be:

A's B (that is, a B that belongs to A)
B of A (that is, a B which is from or related to A)

So basically:

"mado no tonari ni"
window of front in

The order is different, but the phrases match up.

If you still don't understand, don't worry about it too much. Just know that this is how to use prepositions.

Never heard "tana" being used for desk, but...

Just think of it as "There are photo, book, etc. on top of the shelf."

I wonder who had the extreme pleasure of banning you.

Anyway, my teacher told me it would be better if I were to maybe say boku instead of ore. We didn't go much into it though as we were looking through last years exams.

We have a break for easter now and we going to get the exam from 2 years ago along with the tape and take a mock exam. Can't wait.

So anyway guys.

It's what we were looking at yesterday. Try and keep it simple for me haha.
