Taking them out of the public levelranks and putting them into the token or maybe even their own levelranks is way past due. I've seen so many threads suggesting this over the years and the only argument I've seen against doing it is:

If I had to AAA all the blue butt fuck off sync garbage, you have to too.

Which is a terrible argument and reads more like: "I don't think something should be improved because I also think it needs to be improved but am bitter about having to deal with it for so long." There's no reason to subject new players or even current players to them and as long as you get to keep your scores I don't see the problem.

For god sakes, fix them and reskin them and make them proper songs like everything else.

Keeping old junk because we want to be proud of how the game used to be shittier is just dumb and stupid.

1) Remove the old versions from the game menus
2) Make them playable via another link entirely that just loads the normal client but with only the old songs in the song list
3) Make new versions of all of them, not garbage, put those in the game normally

I say no. If the older players had to endure them so shouldnt the newer players. They really arent all that bad.. Just play them with sound off. Just suck it up. I mean technically you dont HAVE to play them haha.

I'm not taking this toxic opinion seriously anymore, but since you are let me fling it back at you with an equally toxic one. I have endured these files harder than you, as after a cursory check at your PBs, mine surpass yours. As this is the case, your opinion clearly doesn't have as much weight as my endurance to legacy content. My opinion being that these are hot garbage, and players shouldn't feel the need to touch these things, or get them confused with proper content when playing.

Suck it up and endure more if you want to convince me you're truly concerned about the cause.

You do not leave the worst part of a game in, just because it was the first thing completed, or for "nostalgia."

The argument of "older players had to do it, so we should make the newer people" is just basic fucking stupidity. The older simfile artists had to make files in fucking notepad, and we clearly don't do it that way anymore. We didn't tell Velocity to not fuck with the engine because it was the way the game used to be. We didn't leave the av-miss glitch in just because older players had to endure it.

Get rid of them already, and please take tier points with them, for fuck's sake. Also update the anti-pa requirements from skill tokens, because they're 100% counter intuitive to the game from the start, thank you.

Fuck the idea of leaving files like these in game. If you're gonna promote the ffrmania engine, move the crappy files there along with all the improper converts.

PS: I am not saying FFRMania is a bad idea. I'm just saying that straight converting files doesn't give you the intended expiriance. It's not meant as an insult.
