Ugh not happy about the file change. I had to get pretty lucky for my score..

I'm not happy with it either. I had a lucky 10g run the first day that it was released, and got mindblocked on the intro so I couldn't get a better score. With the extra 40 notes, I'm even more mindblocked on the intro and it renders my 10g score useless.

Chances are I'm going to be out this round because they want to fix files 3 weeks into the tournament when they should have been fixed at the start of the tournament when they were reviewing the files. Why couldn't this fix wait a week for the people who registered good early scores?

Getting the hang of the fixes, but the 23 trill section is hit or miss for me. Have to get that lucky run minus the nerves at the end

It happens. The wrong version of D2's Time was used as well - the real one should have about 70 more notes. That wasn't changed though (sometime soon hopefully), the rationale being that people already had the song AAA'd. Which reasoning is definitely fair enough, but I'm a little surprised it was done for Steel Monster anyway, even if no one had AAA'd it yet.

I made a mistake, and I'm sorry.

However, spending your time complaining about the situation is only reducing the amount of time you could be spending improving your score. Every single person in D6 has to improve their score considering that it was a 40 note change, and take into account that had the right file been in game, you wouldn't have seen the outdated first version in the first place.

Reshiram wanted the files up as soon as possible, and I honored his wishes.

I think the cutoff is going to be near the SDG territory, but it can be tighter than that since the song length is respectably lower.

I understand, but I just feel like I've been shit on for this entire tournament. The first round was an alright start, and then I just get dished by charts that contain all my weaknesses (jack heavy & trills), and the file reset in D6 was icing on the cake.

Hopefully you understand where my anger and height of complaint has been coming from. It's been really bad song choice thus far, and chances are this will get me eliminated
