Depends on which songs you listen to that are from Trivium. If you listen to songs from The Crusade, then you might not like them very much. If you listen to songs from Ascendancy, then you might...

Wikipedia definitely helps with defining band genres. Yeah, that is how I check what kind of metal a band is.
