Use a sturdy chair as a bar when using an Omega. Or make your own. A lot of people on the DDR/ITG players facebook group have done it with varying levels of success.

If you're playing on the foam mat that they include with the console DDR games, there isn't really much that can help you.

I doubt anyone can score well on anything DDR level 6 or above on those...
