Oh no, that's perfectly fine -- the other thread doesn't quite give the details, and at least with a link to the other thread fairly high up in this one, you can still communicate your point across

Well France tryna redeem themselves or what hehu
This is pretty troubling, but perhaps necessary. I hate to see the outcome of these wars, since the countries afterwards take forever to recover and often fall back into the same shithole.

Can we mind our own ****ing business for once?
Even with a new president we can't do that.Comment

You know how many debates I have gotten in to in history classes or with friends saying this? Why, whenever some country is being stupid and acting like morons, do we always need to go in there and blow them up? Granted, 9/10 something provokes us to get involved, but on this one, the only negative thing that has happened since Libya went haywire is we have a lack/decline of oil. It may suck for gas prices, but I think I'd rather have Americans live longer than have gasoline.Glorious Morning - Misc, level 48

I didn;t know it was ok to let batshit crazy tyrants kill their own people.
If that isn't a good enough reason to get involved then i dont know what is.Comment

Re: [News]US and British forces have fired at least 110 Tomahawk cruise missiles at l
There are other countries out there with corrupt governments/police forces that let gangs kill their own people while they turn a blind eye and pretend not to know anything and do nothing to stop it.
What makes Libya so special? Just cause their leader is open about killing his own people? Lol, whatevs
Doesn't mean we should get involved. JS
Waiting for the shitstorm.Comment

Im sure if you were in their shoes you wouldn't be saying that. You would be crying for any other countries to help. Unless you want to die, then thats a different story.Comment

Honestly, I think the US should have reacted much quicker. But I think it's the right choice to help the people on this. I mean, sure there are other countries but the problem is that no one is informing the US or other countries how bad it's become, unlike Libya that, as you can see, many people are all over due to the mass killings from the hands of Gaddafi himself. I think at least in this one they feel they have a good chance of winning.Comment

Did you just state something irrelevant to make it look like you know what you're talking about but in reality you know you just got owned? Seriously though, please, explain to me how Libya is more important than say... innocent people that are killed, chopped up and put on display for the public to see in Mexico? And oh yeah, that one country we've been at war with for almost a decade. In reality, nothing has changed much there except that... Hussein is gone but the people there are still killing each other and our soldiers.
Sorry that my logic is far too complex for your tiny brain to comprehend.
Apparently the United States is some kind of Heroic country that's supposed to solve all the world's problems and we need to interfere with other people's business all the time.Comment
