EAG's 2 in 1 Tournament
Sign-ups are currently open, and will conclude (11/13/08). If you want to join, you must say, "EAG is hawt." You must state in which section/sections of the tournament you desire to participate in. You can partake in both if you wish.
There were unforseen problems with the Partners tournament. Therefore, this event will consist of two tournaments, hence the modification of the tournament name. Thank you for your cooperation. Good luck and have fun with the tournament!
Welcome to my 1st tournament. Though this is the first time I host such an event, I'll do my best to make this tournament as pleasant and enjoyable to all participants.
As the title is written, you could say this is a "two in one" tournament. This "trial of skills" will be based upon how competent you are at every task I assign (scores), and how barbaric you are with the keyboard (mashing). More information will be disposed of each as you read. Before you take a moment to look at the regulation governing conducts, actions, procedures, and arrangements, know that if you have an issue of some sort, please contact me privately. I will get back to you without hesitation.

Sign-Ups
Any member is eligible to sign-up as long as he/she has a minimum of 0.1 years of being a member on this amazing site, 500 games played, and is sure to keep up with the tournament. Signing-up with an alternate account is not acceptable. Once such information is brought out to light, he/she shall be disqualified from the tournament. No exception unless I’m informed of the alternate account beforehand.
Song Selections
Though I'm choosing meticulously every song for each round, I'm aware that perhaps the song chosen is not a level you’re competent with, but, like I said, I'll do my best to pick a song suitable for every round as the tournament progresses.
Score Submissions
Participants possess four days to present a reasonable score. A good score means you did not mash, and completed specified song. If a score of inferior quality is purposely given, it will be automatically rejected. Feel free to either post a screenshot of your score in this thread, sending it via private messaging to me, or through MSN (contact information can be located on my profile). Do not direct your screenshots to all three. One should suffice.

Your SS must look similar to the example above, with the top, right-hand corner clearly visible, as well as the complete R1 game area. Please consider the representation of the score being a moderate size, thus not stretching the pages, and please do not post a link to your SS. If you go above and beyond, such as SSing the entire screen, or showing the date and time, it'd be greatly appreciated.
One last note; I do not accept late submissions, links to replays, or screenshots of replays in any form. If you have an issue with this, contact me through PM/IM. I'll see what we can do.
Eliminations
All participants located under the red, dashed line are in risk of being removed from further competition. Make sure to do your best, and to submit.
Tie Breakers
If two or more participants result in achieving similar scores and one or more is in risk of being eliminated, a tiebreaking song will be deployed by me.
Divisions
Participants will be sorted out into each division (does not apply to the mashing portion of this event) by me. I will do my best to place each member who partakes in this event taking into account Average Ranks, AAA/FC bars, but most importantly, your level ranks. I do not, and I repeat, do not want to hear any groans because of the division you’re in. Chances are you're just intimidated. If you honestly think you were placed incorrectly, PM/IM me in an amiable disposition, and I may reconsider. There will be an five divisions for the Scores tournament. The mash tournament will consist of 1 division. Each division is named as the following...

I would appreciate if you'd take this moment to give the thought of donating credits, and other prizes an opportunity. I wouldn't be able to thank you enough if you did.
