The winds of change had blown once again. Many days had passed since the pregnancy incident, apologies, forgiveness and tea had all been passed around, and Gensokyo had returned to a state of boring once more.
Aya Shameimaru was, once again, annoyed. Not about getting knocked up - no, that had been quickly fixed and everyone had moved on, including herself. She was annoyed because of how nothing was happening. As horrible as girls getting knocked up was, at least it made for an interesting story. Her drafty dusk flight had almost finished (draftier than normal, Aya noticed) when she heard a loud gasp and then laughter come from the forest below. Looking down, she spotted Mystia Lorelei, an inferior bird to herself if there ever was one.
It did not take long for Aya to realize that Mystia was laughing in her direction. She zoomed down within earshot, making sure to keep herself above Mystia so as to demonstrate her superiority. "Okay, what's going on? What about me is so funny?"
Mystia managed to stop laughing long enough to spit out, "Your name may have "shame" in it, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't cover yours!"
Aya raised a quizzical eyebrow and Mystia went back to laughing just as another breeze picked up - again, draftier than normal. This further confused Aya until something in her mind clicked and her face went white. She patted down her skirt and, as quickly as it has gone ghost, her face now roared out in red.
Her underwear was missing!
Aya was rendered completely incapable of any words as Mystia's laughter continued. Slowly looking back down at the other bird, pure rage built up and Aya started shaking before her keen eyes caught something else. Immediately her rage subsided and was replaced by a small smirk.
"You think this is funny, huh? Well, from my point of view, it seems like I'm not the only one minus some undergarments. It's also good to know my chest is bigger than yours."
Mystia stopped laughing, looked down her blouse and shrieked. Her bra was gone - and, as a quick lower blouse pat revealed - so was her underwear!
"What the-! You did this, didn't you? I'll show you! I'm going to-"
Aya patted her chest down while responding. "Shut up, Polly. I didn't do anything, though I should given what you've done to me. And where's my bra?"
"Huh? I didn't do anything to you!"
"If you didn't, then who did? I know I didn't forget to dress myself this morning."
"Well, neither did I!"
"Hmm...given this is after the pregnancy incident, I bet we have an underwear thief on the loose! Pregnancy is one thing, but stealing my underwear is crossing the line. I'm off to the Shrine to solve this mystery like last time. You better wait here. I don't want any more children to get hurt!"
Mystia shrieked in anger as Aya flew off laughing. "Why, you! How dare you-come back here!"
