There's nothing in this game that's even almost allowed me to get a good read on anyone. I mean, right now, of the few people I've spoken to, I've obtained nothing of use.

dbp - DBP seems to be on his period this game. (period joke courtesy of FJ). I take him as either a worried wolf, or a worried human. His votes are very sporadic, and often conflicting with his last vote. Now, this could easily be explained by the nature of this game (mystery), in which no planning is aloud and new information becomes available quite often as long as you remain active. It could be, however, that he's very stressed at the night 1 call of his wolf friend (yessss) and is frantically trying to fix things up (as he would think he had to do by himself, due to his personality) thus leading to many different votes and his extreme snappiness/overreactions.

talisman - Talisman is confirmed completely as far as I am concerned.

pntballa - With his claim of third party thief, I don't rule him out as a wolf/red thief attempting to fake a role (it would work quite well). In the event that he is actually a third party thief, not knowing the mechanics of his role makes it very difficult to judge the reasons of him coming out publicly (especially since the other thief could steal from him.) I'm also very concerned about pnt working with the wolves for his benefit, because no matter what deal we make with him, his publicness could easily allow him to work with the wolves alongside us for double the items. Betrayal is quite easy in his position.

Fiction - I don't really know what to think of him, we haven't really talked enough TWG just yet.

Everyone else, I either haven't spoken to enough, or in some cases haven't spoken to at all.

In conclusion, since everyone is bitching about the enormous amount of safeties, I'll get rid of mine in favor for pnt because if he is a third party thief, that means that there is another one who will be quite happy that we got rid of his competition, and this one isn't public, therefore less likely to deal with the wolves. And in the event he is red, well, good job us on calling it, and we're one step closer to winning the game.

so some **** is ****ed up in this game. I have a very strong feeling like I'm on the wrong track with a lot of things and that I'm being played by people I don't suspect I'm being played by. I'm having brief glimpses of a postgame in which the wolves are exulting over how neatly they worked around me.

for one, yesss makes less sense to me as a wolf having just read over the thread than he did earlier. (I trust to a certain extent that I wasn't lied to about the psychic item). for one thing, his vote passage thing doesn't make much sense to do. if you're a wolf, do you pass an item to a human just because their name is on it? and if both nija and yesss were wolves, do you make an item passage between the two public? Furthermore, what's with yesss' post where he doesn't understand the guard system. Seems like he'd be well aware of that from talking with other wolves, especially after I was guarded (though who knows).

It's starting to make me think that stoic might actually be the dead wolf here. I wonder. I could give away his role here (dunno if it would matter or not), but I think for now I'll keep it to myself. Still, its nature and what I know of what human powers supposedly exist make me wonder alot.

for now though, fish because you theoretically shouldn't want to be playing this game as much as you are and something seemed weird about your early votes. rioting, who knows. the item thing is certainly plausible.

Okay, look. You bitching at us because we have nothing to go on isn't helping either DBP. I plan on changing my vote before the day end, but as of right now, there is nothing. Manti messed up, but Talisman says he has a role and we shouldnt kill him, and it could have very well have been an accident. You accused Fish for accusing Manti. Rioting said something about a night action, so he is suspicious. The jewelers are under speculation.

Were trying DBP, but with so much unknown, telling us how sitting on our hands is bull**** isn't helping the problem.

I am doing my best to help out to the best of my ability, but other than trying to ID stuff and keep myself from dying tonight with what I have, I really dont know much.

We are trying DBP, be a little more supportive, okay?

I understand people are trying, and it wasn't directed at any one person. Yes, you're trying, more than most maybe, but it was a general thing. And even so, you can make a vote that matters instead of safty-ing somenoe. Hell, even if it's me, vote for someone you think is a wolf.

So enough about me. Time for an actual vote. I'm voting for DBP. Here's why: The whole game something's been a bit 'off' about him. He's been very active but it's hard to say he's been helpful. He's made a number of posts that overreact, try to incite an unnecessary amount of worrisome thinking. His comments toward Yesssss were quite negative, condescending, and representative of a wolf berating their fellow wolf in an attempt to clear themselves.

I don't recall ever being condesending towards yesssss. I do, however, remember being one of the only people to think he was telling the truth. Look back and you'll see my post saying I did almost the same thing.

Also note that DBP voted for Stoic and not Yesssss. (Stoic having started the attack on Yesssss with a decent argument)

I voted for stoic because he was acting differently by not talking to me at all on aim, which he normally does, even when we're on seperate teams and he knows is (as in when he's a wolf and I'm human).

Also, when I first mentioned to DBP that I had an item showing his character we had this convo:

“Woah”? Was he surprised? Worried? Seems like too much reaction for something that only shows their characters drinking tea together.

Woah was because I didn't expect items that had pictures of other people, or were connected to other people. Woah because I had nothing to do with Matt, and hadn't talked to him a single time. Woah because I'm green and unless we're both millers, or started with the same item, etc, I don't see how our characters are connected.

Kilga shedding some light on the situation, letting us know that the players had nothing to do with the etchings makes it make a bit more sense, since at the time I had no clue why we would be on it, and furthermore why anyone would be on it. My item had an etching, but it wasn't of a player that is in the game, so I figured that most would be the same.

I don't even know where to break this so I'll address it all:

I'm being period-ish because last mystery game people were being very generous with the info they had, be it their own or not. Imagine the seer telling a wolf night one who they were. Or on a more close-to-home note any blue telling anyone their role night one (who could be a wolf) off them without anyone knowing, and we're down one of our power roles. I have had 2 people tell me their role out of blind trust, and 4 people tell me their items. There is an alliance head, and it's not me. I don't understand why people just tell me things, honestly. There's absolutely no reason for you to trust me.

As far as the open info thing, I think it's a HORRIBLE idea to give the wolves a bunch of info. As long as talisman covers his bases, keeps the guard vote active, etc, we don't need to post a bunch of info. I feel very confident in his ability to make sure the info isn't lost, or appoint someone who can re-attain the info upon his death, with some sort of 'yeah xxxx is trustworthy in the event that I die.'

I've voted twice, we're on D2. I voted for Mecatol Rex, which you'll notice isn't playing the game, and I voted Stoic D1 and Fish D2. That's not 'many different votes' last time I checked, since any less would have garnered phantoms.

Yes, I'm very PMS this game, it's a MYSTERY game. The people here have a horrible habit of doing things that could royally **** us over, without thinking much about it. I'm trying my hardest to make sure that doesn't happen.

I'm very aware that this post seems over-reacting, and I'd probably take it that way myself, but that's because I read these loads of horse crap while at work (I'm not angry, trying to lighten the mood with some joking around) and couldn't respond for 3+ hours. So I just got home and I'm excited/trying to explain myself/etc.
