    If you are going to make an FOTBB sim, read this

    Ok, I have the CORRECT bpm for Flight of the Bumblebee.

    You will all be like, "That's massive bullshit, there is no way in hell it's that speed."

    Well, I did research to prove my hypothesis.

    The CORRECT bpm for Flight of the Bumblebee is...drum roll please...
    98.79 bpm!!!

    How is this possible you may ask? Well, it has 1/32nd notes to 1/64th notes mostly. So what you would do to assume it's faster is, count too fast when trying to find it. Most people usually end up multiplying the correct bpm by 4-5 times over the proper speed.

    I just thought this would help people make better flight of the bumble bee files, so they aren't 400+ bpm.

          I have the Flight of the Bumblebee sheet music and it shows 16ths. So it's 199 bpm or around there.

              yeah wtf... everyone knew that it was around half of what arch used. Plus it's not like it matters if it's that small or that big, as long as the arrows are on sync.

                  Well, there are different speed variations of the music. The ORIGINAL sheet music from the Russian conductor(keep forgetting his name) is 99 bpm. I would say if you are making a sim, double the speed up a bit. That way, it's a lot easier to read then seeing a shitload of 32nds and 64ths going up(or down, depending on preference).

                  But I have also asked one of my band instructors, who is somewhat of a famous trumpet player, who can play it decently, has told me it's only like 100-120 beats a minute. So yea. I was just sick and tired of seeing 400+ bpm songs for FOTBB and thought I should make this so people don't do it.

                              It's being played live though. You would need a recording that isn't played by a person, because it doesn't have a real bpm in the mp3 used on this site.

                                  Wait, what? Do you mean you are trying to make a step file? If you are, and it's live, try to make it as best as possible. There aren't many symphonys that can play that song perfectly(and I mean that by as close as possible) So it's going to be very muddy. But you could still try I guess. I recommend looking for like the sheet music for a version you are going to do, and I could re-write it on my music writing program, and get you a perfectly made mp3(or pretty damn close to perfectly made).

                                      A live song would mean it's BPM is changed every few seconds.

                                      And you should never double a BPM, ever.

                                          If a song is just consistent with no triplets, you can double the speed. Because all it really would be is playing the song in 2/2 time, which is double time incase you people don't know. You would have to rewrite the rhythyms with the right types of notes, but that is all. Like 8th notes turn into quarter notes, and so on.

                                          But with a live song, like I said, it will be VERY muddy, and impossible to sync it 100% perfectly. Just sync it as best as possible.
