Here are some of my favourites:

Easy
Frozen Ray Heavy (love those spins)
Kakumei Heavy (not too easy but not bad if you get the rythm. Note: to find it do an alphabetical search for K and look for the one that isn't in English)

Normal
Sakura Oni (same deal as Kakumei but with the letter S. Hit down twice on heavy to switch to Oni, otherwise you're doing a 10 footer)
Can't Stop Fallin' In Love (Speed mix) Heavy (Crossover madness at beginning and end)
Across the Nightmare Oni (pretty tough streams in there)
A Oni (tiring jumps in the second half, arguably a hard one)

Hard
So Deep (Perfect Sphere mix) Heavy (I found this one hard when I was tackling 9 footers)
V Oni (Trickier on 1X, lots of quarterbeat trills at 150 BPM. Trills are where you hit the two panels back and forth quickly.)
Cartoon Heroes (Speed mix) Heavy (really hard, almost qualifies for 10 footer status)

When you beat those hard ones without a bar, you can take on some 10s with a bar.

Cartoon heroes is much much harder then So Deep... I don't know why you would even rank those 2 together... When I could A So Deep, I could only C Cartoon Heroes =\

Why exclude sakura? It's a 10 footer... but if you play it a few times and you understand when the speed changes, it's easily the same level as a normal 9 footer.

I don't really see how you guys say Cartoon Heroes is the hardest. I have fun with that song, and can say there are other 9 footers that are harder than CH, to me at least. I can easily B it, and get an A 60% of the time. No FC or AA yet though.

Eh, I've always called 24242424 drills...

I've always liked Paranoia Rebirth, for some reason. I was born and raised on 3rd Mix so that might be why.

If you're just starting it might be best to keep it on 1x or 1.5x, maybe 2x at most, but yeah the song is relatively fast, so you shouldn't really have to change anything.

Personal preference. I used to play 1X, then 2X (1.5X for faster songs), and now I'm doing 1X again. For So Deep, it's probably best to play 2X at first, the rythm is tough if you're not used to it.

Anyway, So Deep isn't TOO hard, but I found the rythm difficult when I started doing it. Definately the 2nd hardest song in DDR MAX2 US (1st being Maxx Unlimited).
