So i was just curious, how many of you FFR players use FFR as a temporary replacement for DDR?

Well.. maybe not a temporary replacement, but I get my fair share of DDR in. I have Max1 , Max2 , Extreme , and Supernova2 here at home.

In all honesty, i'd rather play at an arcade all the time than at home because the quality of foam dance pads is terrible, they slip and the sensors are blahhh. Too broke right now to buy a metal pad.
No local arcades with DDR though, only one arcade with a Pump machine.

Not sure if trolling or sincere curiousity e.e
I've never played pump it up! ive wanted to try. i want the full blown metal machine thoughIn all honesty, i'd rather play at an arcade all the time than at home because the quality of foam dance pads is terrible, they slip and the sensors are blahhh. Too broke right now to buy a metal pad.

4 arrows is easier than 5, i'll admit that. plus, pump it up takes advantage of density and hands.

Re: Any FFR players who play DDR?
It's annoying. And yea, if you ever go on youtube and watch videos of someone like FEFEMZ playing PIU , you'll see how crazy it is. I mean, i know the highest difficulty is labeled Nightmare, but gaddamb.

Re: Any FFR players who play DDR?
I've played DDR ever since it came out and i never really stopped, but In the Groove outclasses it in every possible way. I Play ITG on a regular basis with my friends, and i've never seen playing keyboard as a replacement for playing pad. They are completely different things.

Re: Any FFR players who play DDR?
The problem with PIU isn't five arrows. Five arrows would be fine.
It's the fact that DDR goes
Left, Down, Up, Right
And PIU is like, bottom left, upper left, middle, upper right, bottom right
The second arrow in being -up- instead of -down- is just mindwrecking.Comment
