It just takes getting used to the PUI layout but after some practice it becomes natural. That's how it was for me :V

I still remember the day when I was in 6th grade competing in a high school DDR tournament with seniors and I got 2nd place (I got a C on Max 300 and the other guy got a B).

I played DDR before finding FFR. I don't play DDR or ITG unless it's in an arcade since my cobalt flux pad at home is pretty bad.

Stepping pad files can be interesting however. I casually play index.

I legitimately feel upset about the notion that I've been (off and on) playing rhythm games for over a decade and I still have trouble passing Max 300 thanks to shitty stamina. I hope that getting into shape will help with this, though.

Granted, I haven't tried to pass it too many times, but FCing Max300 seems like one of those far-off goals for me at the moment.

There'a a PIU machine in a recently-built arcade five minutes from me, I've been meaning to go there and check out the quality of the pads and see if i'll make that a regular go-to spot.

I'm still new to the ITG scene though, I only ever see machines when I go on shore trips and I go on the boardwalk. And that's always at least two hours away.

As for DDR, i have 3 home versions and the nearast arcade machines are 8 On The Break in NJ (several meet-ups have happened there) and Berkshire Mall in Reading, PA. Both are at least an hour and a half from my town.

Meanwhile, Max300... I have a 3 great FC because of the ending.

I mostly play ITG, but I also play DDR, PIU, and Technomotion.
