    Ukranians going HARD A F right now

    1 million+ people protesting.

    See, Kiev is tearing itself to shreds right now, but since we're kind of burned out on protests, riots, and revolutions at the moment, it's being treated below-the-fold news. Somehow, the fact that over a million people are marching, camping out, and battling with Ukraine's increasingly authoritarian government is barely making a ripple behind such blockbuster news bits as bridge closures and polar vortexes. Yes, even though protesters are literally building catapaults and wearing medieval armor and manning flaming dump trucks.

              They're talking shit. I bought my wife off a Ukrainian website and made her leave her kids in Lviv.

                                  What baffles me is that 'Trip to the Moon' is by Nina, Goddess of Dance. She is a Swedish female vocalist who does mostly dance/trance style music.

                                  The singer from the band 'Baxter' is named Nina. She is a Swedish female vocalist who does mostly dance/trance style music.

                                  They even sound a lot alike.

                                                  I visited Kiev two months ago (as of yesterday), and saw protests on a much lower scale than what is currently happening. I still have a piece of paper that someone handed me on the street, asking the question "Do you want to live in a European Ukraine?" and listing a bunch of other stuff that I managed to translate with my basic Russian knowledge.

                                                  This makes me sad though... my heritage. :'(
