    iit say what irl actions remind you of vgm

    ok this sounds dumb in its entirety and probably is for the geekier of us but whenever i open my garage door and close the door behind me coming into my house i think of this theme


    and when i speed down the road at night and slowly pass a bunch of people


    i'm sure i'm not the only one who does this.. since we all have childhoods and i'm sure most people on this board play video games

              Lol... I don't do this, but I can definitely understand. This was one of the best video game songs of all time. Probably my favorite racing game ever.

                              chores theme song no clue why but im okay with it


                              also on a regular basis i reminisce upon vgm songs but they are always different and not associated with a regular activity

                                  Agreed. I still get that song stuck in my head every so often...but I would probably get that if I was driving fast rather than slow

                                  Most of the time though it's the other way around for me. vgm will remind me of events with a similar mood or feel to them. I'll sporadically get a song stuck in my head and my mind makes up a picture/scenario to go with it. Is there a "VGM that would go perfectly with scenario 'X'" thread yet? I'm just picturing shoving aggressively through a crowd with star power music blasting in the background. Or "Hurry Hurry" from FFVII coming on when you're on the freeway and the fuel light comes on. Guile's Theme goes with everything etc.
