Time for another speed tournament, guys. This one, is a team tournament with two people per team. Here are the rules:
Rules/Guidelines
- Two people per team
- Each team will play all of the other teams. The number of rounds depends on the number of teams there are.
- Teams will play a set of songs and their combined raw scores will be totaled and compared to the other team. The winning total score wins the round. Teams will carry a record with them, like in sports.
- The team with the best overall record after all of the rounds will obviously be the winner, and will likely get all of the prize pot. This may change based on donations/participation.
- For now there are no divisions. Or one division, if you like to think that way. To keep an even playing field, if you have more than 1000 AAAs, you must pick a teammate that has under 750 AAAs. We won't be playing all guru songs, so I want to try and make this fair. This is how I think it can be.
- As with my other speed tournaments, there is an entrance fee of 5,000 credits per person. All of it will be used for prizes of course
- Rounds will last 24 hours, midnight to midnight server time
Both team members must post in this thread, stating they're in each other's teams and send 5,000 credits each before I list you as participants.

Teams are split into two divisions so there aren't 17 rounds. With this, there are about 7 or 8 rounds. With 9 teams in division 1, there will be one team to have a bye for the round each round.
If any teams happen to tie for all of their songs, There will be a tiebreaker round for the participating teams, which will last one full day just like a regular round. Those of us who aren't tiebreaking would just have the day off.
This is going to be a raw score tournament, and you and your teammates raw scores will be combined and compared to the other team, etc. Nobody is eliminated at all, and each team will play every other team in their respective divisions. After each team has played each other, the teams with the best records will move on to a playoff where it will be single round elimination. I've yet to decide if I'll include 4 or 8 teams.
