I have wanted to make video games since I was old enough to play them and realize that I had cooler ideas. I wrote all those awesome great ideas down in notebooks, too. Of course, now I look back and I realize that all my ideas were just Mario and Doom clones . OH WAIT, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE REAL GAME INDUSTRY DOES!! So basically I've been perfect for lead design guy for games since I was 5! YAY!

But seriously, I wanna learn programming and have my own little company (and when I say little, I mean REALLY TINY). It'll basically just be some games released online here and there with a donate button on the website if you wanna be so kind. As soon as I learn some programming languages and am able to I will slowly start pumping out little games and eventually get webhosting and make you guys all play them. But I plan to eventually get better and move from crappy webgames to downloadable .exe games that get better and better as I learn more.

Basically, my little company's site and will help boost my resume so that I can maybe get hired at a game company (Epic games has their central office in Raleigh, and I would love to work for them ). Also, alot of the games I make will be in the same basic storyline, and I have this grand idea that would take a major company to do, and I plan to sell the idea to the company once I get part of the idea working by myself.

But um, I'll need people for my tiny little company. If it's just me, you'll be piloting the SS Triangle against the horrible Box Army with their devastating Rectangle Missiles and Circle Bombs, all while listening to a really bad 30 second loop of shitty techno music! It'll be an awesome game, but it'll look and sound like crap if I can't recruit people to help out. o___O
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

That was actually my dream at a young age, but I gave up the idea for it around the time when I realized there would probably be another million of kids who wanted that dream (kinda like little Jimmy the "future baseball star"). Damnit, I should of pursued it. I had some kickass ideas and I was so determined I even tried to learn the PHP back when I was 11, yet miserably failed with only Pre Algebra skills at my wake.

Well that's the sad part, being a top dollar game-maker is kinda like becoming a top dollar rock star. TONS of kids have little garage bands and demo tapes floating around, and tons of music is on the internet by them, but very few get actual record deals. My dream is basically the same, except my "demo tape" is a batch of games I've made, and the record company is a major game company and the record deal is a job there.

It's not likely to happen, and I'll probably end up in a job like in Office Space and just make games in my free time with friends. =\

My friend and I almost got a job testing video games two summers ago, but apparently they weren't hiring. I have no idea where the company is now... too bad.
