I'm going to stray from the current discussion to just quickly say thanks to those judges that saw issues with Prequel to the Sequel and gave me thorough notes (Halo and Dossar especially). I took what you pointed out and made some much needed changes, so thank you for the effort with an obscenely long file. Side note:

Funny, you were the only judge to mention these. This might be a little overboard here, but in the lyrics they say something along the lines of "the heart seemed to pound... sloooower, sloooower...." right when those drums come in. I intentionally offset those four because they sound like a heartbeat, and I slowed them down a little. It makes sense when explained, but maybe it's a little unnecessary...

dang dossar if i shouldnt have put a trill 4 minutes in where it obviously warrants a trill maybe you shouldn't have put minute long trills in jamais vu right

its ok though, file isn't going through anyways but i just wanted to point out some inconsistencies when judging

such subjectivity is the reason why simfiling is awesome -- different interpretations and such.

Do we both get 2 SAP for this? Or 1? Or less?

If I got at least 1 SAP for this, mine will be at 17 which means my submission cap would be 4, and in that case would I be able to send another file to the regular batch?

Admittedly I do agree that all of Dossar's 1/10s are way too far-fetched and don't really warrant that low of a rating (2-4 should be fine, but a 1 is just a point of no return lol) but at the same time it does give that vibe that like "you should really work on this", but even then a 2/10 to 4/10 (hell, I'd say 5/10 or 6/10) would be just as effective. At this point 1/10s are essentially joke ratings or just an extreme hatred for the file, despite all of the technical errors no file should be given a 1 if the structure is still somewhat respectable/sync is somewhat there

That being said i have no actual bias to/against the files that he gave a 1/10 or 2/10 to, I find them pretty unique just not in a way that I can really ~comprehend~ well

debating on sending my file to the regular batch but hm I probably need some others to playtest
