        24. That was one jam-packed episode; one of my favorites now !_!

        They're really starting to wrap up the series now -

        The entire Shinonome family scene was awesome - onions, Sakamoto with a cold, and classic Hakase whining! I was kinda expecting to see Hakase pretending to be a cat when Nano said "cats don't eat onions" but oh well.

                    Anyone manage to make it this far? 25 was fantastic - almost surprised they didn't save something like this for the final episode.


                    The part with Mio running everywhere, helping out the elderly, saving a guy who was drowning, and being asked to conquer the world with boxing.

                        Finally caught up. The ending was a nice touching moment. Next week's gonna be bittersweet with it being the end.

                                    this is incredible how much foreshadowing is in the early episodes. like back in 0 or 1, the train segment where theres noone at the station, and the first jump-rope part, where Mio fails at sport like activities.

                                    Also, in ep. 1, when Sakurai finds the statue in her foot locker, you can see Mai sit up in her seat in interest, and also when it's announced during the assembly later, while Mai and Yukko are carrying Mio out, Mai halts when she hears it mentioned

                                    also, watching the first OP again, theres alot of elements that are now recognizable, and it's really cool

                                    /watching from ep 0 again/

                                    also just realized that the first closing theme is different very slightly each time. whoah this series is awesome.

                                    EDIT:
                                    Because this is giving me wtf moments, i'm gonna do this

                                    as Mio corkscrews her sister, the boxing recruiter says the "what a nice corkscrew" line

                                    Mio - "Now I can return to my uneventful life"
                                    oh how wrong she was.


                                    Yukko @ Mio - "Why do you always use those hairties?"
                                    and thus the daydream of the cubepeople.

                                                So it's finally come to an end...

                                                I watched this episode with a friend, and we were awwwww'ing in sadness for several minutes when the ending song popped up... ;~;

                                                This wasn't as strong an ending as I was expecting it to be, but it fits the "ordinary life" theme pretty well. Plus lots of references!


                                                Wait, I thought you were done with Sasahara! (to be continued...?)

                                                Pumpkin.


                                                The rock, paper, scissors segment returns for one last time!! And Nano wins! ... kinda!!

                                                So the secret of the black cat is revealed... poor Sakamoto; he's such a fun cat, too. (refer back to ep. 3)

                                                Hakase ruins two birthday cakes!

                                                In the end, Nano learns that her friends will be her friends no matter what... (ep. 16)
                                                (You all noticed Nano's screw turning near the end, right? =P)

                                                Maybe it's my imagination running wild but Nano's birthday might be a pun - the 7th day of the month is "nanoka" in Japanese.
