Seriously, my suggestion is to take more time with your solutions. Once you THINK you have the answer, don't submit it. Recheck your answer later and try different things to make sure you're right.

I might just be very stupid and havn't figured it out at all, but I felt like Question #1 was very easy and the others very hard. What was confusing me was why #2 only was worth 1 point, but it's probably just me not having actually figured out #1 (I think so though) and being retardedly bad at math

I finally figured out #1. I had made an error in my calculations, and just figured out what it was. Silly stupid me. But, this makes Kefit, Drummerlsu, and myself with perfect scores this week (assuming my answer is correct when I turn it in, which I see no reason why it won't be).

Personally, I don't enjoy riddles that are guess and check for 200+ combinations of things ok.

Not my cup of tea. I can't even get motivated while doing nothing at work or school to do these problems.

It's like actual work.

I don't feel like doing this week's brain teasers, so I guess I'm done with this. I could do them, but I don't find it worth all that time and effort, when I could be doing work for school.

FYI, after I figured out my mistake in #1, it took my 6 small trial and errors to prove my method was correct. #2 just took some thought. #3 took making 9 drawings for trial and error along with some deduction in my head.

#1 took about 6 minutes once I figured out my mistake, and would have been solved in 6 minutes had I not made my mistake right away. Wound up spending about 3 hours working on it with my mistake in logic.

#2 took 60-90 minutes of thought over Wednesday and Thursday to figure out how stupid I was and that I gave Reach an example of a riddle using the EXACT SAME LOGIC yet I didn't put my logic on that riddle together with #2 until the next day.

#3 took 45 minutes.

If your excuse is "there is too much trial and error," then I'm going to call bull. #1 and #3 are the logic ones, and had I not made my retard error on #1, I'd have finished both within 1 hour. #3 is the ONLY one that requires some serious trial and error, but even that can be done fairly quickly if you think about it logically. The excuse is an easy cop-out for not being able to actually come up with the answer.

PS - Drummer never posted he got the answers to all 3, but Reach informed me that both Kefit and Drummer got all 3 correct.

Too much trial and error? damn, you can logically deduce the answer to #1 in about 30 seconds, because you only really need to deduce 2 things anyway. The problem just appears to be really hard.

#2, is not my riddle, and I got it in aobut 2 minutes. Damn, time consuming! I mean, comeon, it's a brain teaser. Obviously the sequence is going to have little or NOTHING to do with math.

#3 could involve trial and error, but if you look at the clues carefully and make some deductions right away it's simple.

Ok enough hints.

If i'm not going to get any more solutions then I won't bother making challenging weeks, or I will make them much easier. I'll just post a random teaser every week for people to try.

I wasn't going to be able to post any new week 4 teasers this week anyway until friday. so busy >_<

I actually think I figured #1 in about 2 minutes. If I send in only that answer, I will still be informed if I got it right or wrong, right?

You'll get my answers at least. I've just been slow working on them thanks to other things like exams...

So far I only have #1. Working on the other two slowly but surely.

EDIT: K, got #2 now. ^^; Now for some fun with #3... or should I study for my exam? Decisions, decisions.
