I guess sarcasm is hard to read on the internet. I was being sarcastic about scientific theory, the site is just so damn funny, and seems ridiculous, which it is, but what makes it funny is that it is actually so true XD

Yeah, it has no scientific backing, I assumed you would pick that up after reading the site a bit
It's getting better all the time
I used to get mad at my school (No, I can't complain)
The teachers who taught me weren't cool (No, I can't complain)
You're holding me down (Oh Oh)
      Turning me round (Oh Oh)
Filling me up with your rules (Oooh)

Holy shi i need to give this to my girlfriend. Just about every week she gets asked out (or worse harassed / molested) by a guy friend who apparently according to her "Didn't want to have sex with her or like her in that way."

at least the first page lol =p

I'm trying to understand the unit of measure on the x-axis when referring to ladder disparities...

definitely going to put the techniques from the ladder theory into work.

Because from my experience with women, This is absolute gold.

I suggest all (straight) men put this shit to use.

Have you read all the parts of the ladder theory? There are no perfectly straight or homosexual men. Every man is somewhere on this spectrum of homosexuality. [This comment is, in no way, a form of attack toward straight or homosexual men. I am simply discussing how the ladder theory relates to both of these groups.]

                    Re: Ladder theory opinions?

                    • Bob Meets Jane
                    • Then Bob Meets Connie

Now the ladder theory description goes like this:
                    1. Bob Meets Jane
                    2. Bob sizes her up based on the above criterion
                    3. Bob puts her on the ladder
                    4. Bob meets Connie
                    5. Bob sizes her up based on the above criterion
                    6. Bob puts her on the ladder above Jane

You can recognize this has gone on because Bob says " I'd like to **** Jane, but not as much as I want to **** Connie"

I think that everyone has heard this or something like it enough times for us to accept it as axiomatic and move on. You might be thinking, " Well what about Jane and Connie?" We'll get to them next.
Uhhhhh, ok. My thought processes are nothing like this.

Another thing to watch out for is the code words women use. Here is a translation guide for dealing with women.
Says: I want a man who is motivated and has goals.
Means: I want a rich man

Says: I want a man who knows how to treat a woman.
Means: I want a rich man

Says: He's from a really good family.
Means: He's from a really rich family.
I stopped taking the site seriously at this point.

Best picture in the universe holy ****.

                    What about homosexual/bi-sexual/trangendered/spongecake fetishists?
I pretty much reject those labels. I think it's more of a spectrum with 1 being something like perfectly straight, and 10 being perfectly gay. I am about a 2.5. Therefore I don't feel qualified to write about h/b/t/s relationships. If someone who is more gay than I wants to, I'll be glad to post it if it isn't a total piece of shit.
                    Derp.

it's not scientific. it's pop-psychology, and bad pop-psychology at that. it conflicts with a lot of established psychological data. for example, men and women are equally influenced by sexuality even though they manifest it differently.

Notice that Bob has Jane very low while Bob is very high on Jane's ladder. He is most likely rich and she is most likely ugly. Anyhow this is a classic case of disparity. If we connect the two points we can make a right triangle. The resulting hypotenuse "c" is the magnitude of the disparity
