    cheering for the sack: fine, it was a good hit
    cheering for the fact that he got injured by coincidence and not because of a good football hit: not cool

    If a player gets laid out and gets injured because he got hit so hard, that's fine. That's the point of football. Hit the dude really hard. If he can't handle it, that's nobody's fault but his own. But you're a horrible sports fan if you enjoy watching people get injured by coincidence.

        It's a part of the game. If they didn't want people hurt, they'd make it two hand touch, instead of full contact.

                                isn't this like legitimating violence in a restricted context while using the sport tool as a magnifier of the outcome? i'm not being sarcastic at all. how do you draw the line between violence and sport there.

                                                How could you not like Tebow? Is it just because you don't like Florida or what?
                                                I mean, I'm a Yankees fan and I HATE the Red Sox and everything, but someone like Terry Francona (I think that's how you spell his last name) I like because he's a good manager. There's nothing to not like about Tim Tebow, at all, but hey, I can't tell you who you like & who you don't like. Just wondering though, why exactly don't you like Tim Tebow?

                                                        Yes! I 100% agree. I always question & ask people why these people get paid as much as they do to do things like play Football, Basketball, etc. All I ever get is "That's where the money is at" or something like that. Doctors, Surgeons, Fire Fighters, Police Officers, etc. should be getting this money because they're the ones saving lives everyday.


                                                        EDIT: Oh & if you were referring to Tim Tebow with that post, college players don't get paid. But I'm assuming you already knew that.
