NFD, you seem to be regarded as a retard by many on this site, and I've been trying to give you the benefit of the doubt...so think before you post. Your porn situation and this ad are entirely different.

Anyways, FFR doesn't have control over specific advertisements; it has contracts with advertising companies that randomly show different ads. In order to get rid of these, it has to contact the companies and complain about ads, etc. In no way is it FFR's fault that inappropriate ads are showing (though they will of course do something about it)...

I'm not saying you should get banned, I'm just saying that sometimes they're lenient, sometimes they're not. I got banned for quoting porn that somebody posted and saying that they should be banned. Took a month to sort out.

Plain and simple... this isn't something that just comes up because some random person put it there...

For you... the forum rules state specifically that quoting things like pornographic material, racial slurs, etc. is just as bad as you doing it yourself.

I wouldn't imagine why you would quote it when you could just private message... or press the red triangle with a 'l' in it that says "report post"... gasp! (:

I've noticed this on Rithum a lot. I've been trying to bug synth about it as it is NOT acceptable for any ad to redirect users. What's even worse is it looks like they are being served from Google. In fact, I'm almost at the point of completely removing the ads on Rithum since there's no way they make much money at all.

ads with boobs aren't nearly as annoying as ads that explode into a thousand fragments and shoot popups everywhere and ejaculate all over your face

seriously i might exception ffr for adblock if it weren't for the fact that all of its ads are intrusive as hell

I used to use adblock and noscript so i wouldnt get ads on any site. When i got my subcription and no longer needed adblock it made FFR run a lot smoother for me. I kept noscript because there are still some scripts that try to get to run on my comp when i get on FFR so its just for them. All in all i like the fact that i got a subscription. When you think about it $30 isnt all that bad considering it costs me $30 to fill my gas tank every week.

Oh, I know what you mean...

It would redirect to pages with things around your area (pretty creepy) about whatever... I don't even read it because I know I won't need it or can't get it.

If you press 'back' and let the page from before load, it'll just redirect you again, so you have to either 'back' and 'refresh', or move to a different page...

It started yesterday for me...
