i hope some of you realize..most people probably (dont take it in an "absolute" way) voted for Barack because hes black. No, i'am not saying im agaisnt him. No, i'am not saying im racist (never). Im not into the whole voting issue stuff because well, im under age -_-.

At school im already hearing rumors of another (maybe) "Martin Luther King shooting" going to happen. To me thats just taking this a little to far =\.

By the way, even though an African American is in office now, DOENT MEAN other African Americans get special benefits. Thats also something i heard someone say at my school-eth. Lets hope some people out there know that already.

Barack Obama, is not black/African American, he would technically be biracial. Obama's mother was white.

And his father was part Israeli. The man has a lot in him. So far, he's making the right decisions. He's been looking at economically inclined former Clinton Cabinet members for his Cabinet. I'm a little suspicious of his possible Chief Of Staff.

Why do you think that anybody cares about this? Probably about 8 people out of everyone who read it laughed. His avatar does not diminish his credibility. His grammar makes the post more difficult to read, but his points are just the same. You have a little intelligence on your side and you've proven that. So, use it. There's people who think that being rude and unproductive is funny and going to somehow make them cooler online. I kind of expected you to be above that.

I voted for Obama. When he won, there was a riot at my school. At least 4,000 people were running in the streets, gathered aroung a flagpole, and sang the SSB, among many other chants like USA!, O-BA-MA!, and such. The police were following them.

The reason I voted for Obama was because I believe that he can bring about the change that this country desperately needs. I agree with his tax plans and most of my political views line up with his platform.

And what are they, exactly? You say you agree with his tax plans, well what about them appeal to you? Or his political policies. What do you dislike or like about them that won your vote over McCain? It's so annoying how everyone says "I agree with this" and "I agree with that" when the rarely know what "this" and "that" are.

That's true but I was referring to his heritage. I think that Barack was the better choice over McCain.

i doubt the margin of people who voted for obama strictly because he is black anywhere near outweighs the projected 7% of voters who feel they simply cannot vote for a black candidate. in the week preceding the election i got a series of pamplets entitled "The Real Negro Problem" warning of the black takeover that would come with an African-American president.

also i get the feeling that some of the people who say they supported ron paul are actually serious lmao and if that's true
