Honestly, I expected every bit of an angry reaction at the thread.

But I addressed it thrice in our emails, and she refused to acknowledge this thread even once in her replies.

Also, when I asked her to provide other examples of nouns being used as verbs, and some of the other things she said, she avoided those topics as well.

She's picking and choosing what to reply to.

I have had teachers who made mistakes, even English teachers, but they would admit when they were wrong. It is terrible how she is making a noun a verb just because she says it is so. Essentially what she is doing is this, "That noun is a verb because I said so." English is hard enough to learn without ****ups like this making it even harder.

Who cares if the higher powers of his school read this? He's not responsible for what people on this site think of that idiotic woman, and if he's punished for anything I said, his school's administration is as retarded as their wrongfully employed English teacher.

Also, it seems like everyone is forgetting that high school is an exercise in answering questions in the manner the teacher deems correct. If the teacher decides that 1 + 1 = 3, if you want to pass the test, put 1 + 1 = 3. Get over it. People aren't infallible. Usually they aren't this retarded, but oh well. Take it to another English teacher if you want your moral victory.

Haha Chaz, that made my whole day better.

And yeah OWA, I didn't argue with it the first time, I did just what you said.

It's the fact that she repeated the question 7 months after the original incident and it still did not have the right answer choice and she still refused to acknowledge when she was wrong that set me off.

Also, Chaz, I printed that comic. It's great. She's going to anonymously receive a little gift tomorrow morning.
