Get over yourself. I figured this whole thing was because you just didn't want Arch as a mod. Yeah, maybe he shouldn't have edited the post, maybe he should have, whoop de doo, who gives a flying fuck. It's over and done, you most likely didn't say anything wonderfully mind-blowing anyway.

GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD. the fact remains that Arch0wl contradicted himself by saying he never deletes posts unless it's something horrible, like goatse. Within a few hours, he manages to deleted a post. I feel that Arch0wl could have the tendency to do this in the future, because i have seen arch0wl behave like this before. A mod should be objective and fair.

Yeah, I do. Arch became a mod, you noticed and you were 'unhappy' You started a thread about it, which was then locked, you got mad, started another thread, got locked, and probably started more but I'm too lazy to go and dig out the exact number of how many. Then you posted in Altairians thread about it, which also resulted in getting locked. Arch had every right to lock not only those pointless threads, but he also locked alot of the crap on the chit chat page. I really don't see why you guys are all complaining. He's cleaning this dump up so that first thing we see when we click on the chit chat link isn't a bunch of flamewars and meaningless threads like the ones that we see today.

I figured you'd try something like that. Tell me, Vx, where did you write anything supporting his becoming a mod? And then tell me where you wrote stuff that had a...negative attitude toward his becoming a mod? I haven't seen much (if any) call for more moderation lately, except from a couple of malcontents like moogy who won't be happy until the only people allowed to post on the forum are people with an IQ over 120 or some stupid shit like that. This forum isn't perfect, but I don't think the way to improve things is to take away freedom of speech. (come on now, you know it was going to be said sooner or later, stop acting all surprised )

Arch becoming a mod and locking half the topics on the first page of CC is a major event on the forums, why the fuck are we not allowed to talk about it?
