You can't ban someone (usually) for being annoying.

Sadly, that's that main problem with a majority of users.

I know. If they could I'd have been banned plenty of times when I first joined. I was an annoying little prick back then. Perhaps, another FFya is in order?


I wanted to suggest implementing a feature disallowing new users from posting for their first day, and making threads (outside of newbie forum) for their first week. Give 'em time to learn the ropes a bit. Some people make the ****tiest threads that just annoy the **** out of me.

I didn't go through all of these things you went through, but a lot of it. I'm still in the immaturity stage, and if you look at where I forum posted, you'll see how much of a person I was 2 years ago, because I go omg! look at what I put in bold in your quote! :]

FFya is great for the people that are actually in it, but the reqs I'm guessing to get in are really quite hard. Seems like only the extremely funny users and or elite players are in there. There should be a separate forum, other than FFya, for the users that aren't deemed "good" enough for FFya, but want to escape from the stupid idiots running around.

I agree with everyone else also, the mods need to be more active. I see lots of broken rules and it really does annoy me to see NOTHING being done about them. Maybe there should be a rule about being annoying, because seriously if the forums continue to be like this then FFR is just going to die.

I disagree - the only real requirements for FFYa are: be interesting and/or funny.

I haven't even been on 2 years, but I like to think I've come a long way. I started this game when I was like new to forums in general and like I've taken several keyboarding classes and in my most recent one I was the best typer at everything, so yeah. Also 'like' is probably the most used word in my vocabulary.

Wow, this thread turned into a big dump of whiners and criers yearning for remnants of an age passed.

I really don't think there's a huge problem with the moderation here. I see a lot of, 'there's tons of rules being broken', but I don't see anyone saying what they are, and certainly no one is reporting stuff if that's the case, because a moderator would take care of it if they were alerted. They can't view every single thread every single day.

These kinds of bitch-fest threads just end up being really bad for FFR. No one has anything nice or noteworthy to say, and everyone focuses on all the negatives.

im not sure about everyone else but the only reason im here is because of FFR the game and nothing else. If this was just another forum i wouldn't even have joined in the first place

You're here just for the game, yet you've accrued 2200+ posts, and I find you in VC and prochat fairly often. You also took enough care to design and utilize your 'FFRspace'.

You're definitely here just for the game.

Go play SM if you want to just play the game. What else is keeping you here?
