so..... they brought our appliances. The fridge is a BEHEMOTH!!! It's huge, sticks way out into the kitchen (it's kind of funny to see in our small walk-through kitchen) and uses the MAXIMUM power on the energy rating scale.

I dunno yet if I like it or not.

Oh yeah and my food is fine. Everything was cold and nothing melted. Operation move-food-to-new-fridge was a success!

I agree wholeheartedly.

Why are you so crazy over bread?

The sensation of a gooey dough turning smooth and elastic as you knead it.... the smell of it baking in the oven.... dirt cheap, easy, fun.... what's not to love?

There are many foods that I prefer to eat... but in terms of simplicity, cheapness, and fun making, bread is foolproof. All you have to do is figure out the basic recipe (add yeast and sugar to body-temperature liquid, add flour until you can handle it comortably), and it's easy as pie...

And then you get to eat delicious bread out of the oven.
