Indirectly drugs effect people physically. It can destroy the person's life who is doing drugs which in turn can make other people depressed(seeing as drugs also indirectly have killed tons of people, not as health affects as physical accidents), blah blah. I've seen it happen to a lot of parents.

Making drugs and prostitution legal would cause more of both. Having necrophilia legal wont add any extra necrophilia. So either way necrophilia being illegal isn't doing anything. I am sure they made it illegal to put 1 person in jail that was caught.

Plenty of people do necrophilia and plenty of people will still do it after it becomes illegal. It's the same as drugs and prostitution. Old habits die hard.

Although the rules are probably for the public good, no one wants to have something they enjoy (necrophilia) or need (prostitution/drugs) cut off from them.

If someone tends to destroy their organs and mentality by using drugs, I feel it should be their choice. Drugs should be legal, it does not physically effect anyone else. Same with prostitution. Worse comes to worse, then you will get some unwanted STD's. You took the risk in doing so, so I think it should be your responsibility. Adults know what is good and bad for them. They don't need "babysitters" telling them what to do and what not to do. Of course there are circumstances which physically harm others, of course that should abide the law.

Drugs affects others. DUI ring a bell? That's not just alcohol, it's also drugs. Not all drugs are harmful, but some are and those are the ones that should be illegal.

Also, prostitution is not illegal because it's immoral, it's illegal because the government can't get taxes out of it. I can guess that it was originally illegal because it was immoral but it stayed that way because of the above.

The concpet of prostitution being immoral is on shaky ground. I think it is, but others may not. Also, the government could get tazes if it was run federally. It also might get more respect. Might.

There's laws becaus ethey enforce them adequately. Well, some are. Are they going to have task forces patrolling bone yards? I think not.

It's currently legal in Nevada because it's heavily regulated. Not every state, however, has the money or manpower to regulate it. So no, the government won't get taxes because they can't regulate it.

Also, with the law being the law, how many people do you think will continue doing this now that it is illegal.

Downloading music is illegal. However, many people still do it, but some are scared of doing it. The entire goal of the law is to not catch and convict every offender, but to stop the process of it as much as possible.

The point of laws is to take those unfit for society out of society or to prevent people from doing it in the first place. Having sex with a dead body, although just a chunk of flesh, is still emotionally harmful for the people who were relatives of that persons body. Also the laws against prostitution and drugs are illegal do prevent these actions, yes people still do these things but if legal more would. The morality of these things should be in a whole different thread because it would derail this to much but IMO drugs harm you therefore emotionally harming people around you and prostitution...I wouldn't do it but the whole point of a democracy is to do what the majority once and the majority of North American society thinks prostitution is immoral and should be illegal therefore it is.
