Don't try aiming for the hardcore companies right away. Try starting out a little bit smaller, and if your game is a success then you can try moving on to bigger and better things.

I'm big into board games, mega, and your choices are FAR more than the three you listed. PM me with at least a few details on it and I can steer you in the right direction.

board games are almost an untapped fortress of potential come to think of it!
theres are still so many posibilities for different games
its just too bad noone will ever buy them .. !

Sorry to those who would like to see the game. It just won't happen until I can come up with a patent. Mitchr90, as far as I know, I don't know anything about your business. Please show me your patent on your business then we will start talking business. Sorry to be kind of ruff, but I just need security on it because I really am just a poor person in Louisiana working at a Wal-mart trying to make ends meet while living with a disabled mom and a sister who still is in school. I hope you understand where I come from. And if you were just joking about the whole I own a board company business, I say please don't play with my emotions. Since synthlight owns his own business (hence Synthletic Studios, the creator of FFR), maybe he would like to dig into this gold.

The thing is, you can't just say "I have a great idea, who wants to buy it" Eventually you are going to have to give the specifics to someone, and before anyone will want to touch it, you'll have to show them data from playtesting, which means playtesters, which means NDAs which means lawyers.

That's kind of tough to do while a poor person working in wal-mart trying to make ends meet. Especially since you need a patent attorney or agent or the time to famliarize yourself with the process enough to not need one.

This is a link to the current fee schedule for the various fees and charges associated with a patent.

Perhaps you should get your idea patented before you approach anyone with details concerning your "game." No one can really take you seriously until you get serious.
