I think a big fix would be making the hyper links go back to where they used to. Like clicking the users avatar brings you to some random page

I agree. The old one was much better; this one is almost like polyester if it were a forum layout. I sometimes forget that I'm on the FFR site when I'm on here.

The neat thing is being logged into FFR, but NOT logged into the forums. Always throws me off when that happens.
