NEVER MIND I SEARCHED AROUND ON OFFICIAL STEPMANIA THREADS AND FOUND THAT IF THEY ARE FILES THAT YOU HAVE ON THE ACTUALL DDR GAMES THEN IT ISNT A PROBLEM AS LONG AS YOU ARENT SELLING THEM OR GIVING THEM AWAY AND ALSO THAY HAVE TO BE EATHER BACKUP OR YOUR OWN AND MY STEPMANIA IS BARELY USED BECAUSE IT IS A BACK UP DDR FILE AND I DONT SHARE THE DDR FILES ONLY ONES I CREATED FROM SOMETHING ENTIRELY DIFFERENT AND IM NOT SELLING THEM. they are only for personal use. so it doesn't seem that my stepmania is a problem because im not selling or giving the files and also my stepmania is a backup sourse.

NO as long as they arent the official steps because custom steps are okay but if they are the official steps then thay must be for private use or backup copy but you must own the actuall game and bootlegged games do not count or you will get in trouble because it wouldnt be considered the game. im okay because i have every game of ddr ever made and am awaiting for the release of ddr supernova 2 and ddr universe 2

Well, my "Right Now" file hasn't been blocked. It even says (DDR5th. ver.) on it, and yet it stays?

And if Konami got on this site and enforced bans, who said Capcop, Sonic Team, Nintendo and any other video game companies won't come in and invade? Both VGMPs wold be illegal and a big number of sims on the site would get locked down too.

And what would happen if FFR got rights to use songs from a artist with songs on a DDR game?

AND since I heard Konami bought out Roxor, ITG would fall in the category of the copyright infringement too, right? (Which would confide with question #3)

Finally, if we didn't use the exact song file on a DDR game, BUT the song is the same (you know, the actual version, cuts, remixes, the stuff.), would it be allowed or would it fall under the same jurisdiction as the songs Konami stated?

I think you guys are reading way too into this. Certain files have been removed, and will stay removed. If we want to offer an official comment, I'll leave that up to Synthlight. You can bitch and moan all day, but the fact of the matter is... at the end of the day, the files will still be removed.
