Re: In your FACE, parents.
Oh lord... I can't see a thing at 20 feet much less 200.
What would my eyes be? I mean.... I'm ridiculously blind without my glasses, but I wear them and I'm fine.C is for Charisma, it's why people think I'm great! I make my friends all laugh and smile and never want to hate!Comment

Re: In your FACE, parents.
I kinda wish my optometrists told me what the numbers were for my vision... they never have. I should ask next time.
All I know is, I've been playing games pretty much my whole life, and my vision sucks without glasses. My left eye sucks so much that things start getting fuzzy just a half a foot away from my face. My right eye's not nearly as bad, so I can still move around with both eyes open and not go crazy, but I still can't focus clearly on anything unless it's right near my face.
Oh well, good thing I like glasses.♪~
Always Happy! Smile! Hello!
I like delicious things
I shoot eye beams at the things I hate and make them explode! (Yay!)
So Happy! Smile! Hello! It's a picnic every day
There's lots of happiness in my pocket
So let's play forever~Comment

Re: In your FACE, parents.
I had awesome vision until 4th/5th grade, when I started playing more games. Every year now, my vision is gradually getting worse. I don't like it. =/ I'm scared of my vision becoming so bad that my glasses would have to be as thick as they are wide.Comment

Re: In your FACE, parents.
Hmm, not sure who mentioned it, but they did point out that the subjects played action games for an hour a day. I'm sure an hour a day would help your vision. 12 hours a day probably hurts it. I personally make it a point to sit a good 3-4 feet away from my computer screen now, cause my eyes did have trouble a while back. I currently do exercises and stuff that you can find online, cause I personally can't stand wearing glasses, but I'm supposed to. My vision is at that point where not wearing glasses doesn't really hurt. If I had to judge, I might be 15/20, probably getting near to 20/20 now though.
Wow this is a stupid rant, I'm done lolComment

Re: In your FACE, parents.
I'm 20/18, and don't know if its still going down, was 20/20 at 10 years old, then a couple more tests said 20/19 later on. I think that this is a condition apart from games, but I believe that games help in the vision of brain processing, as I think thats what the article is mentioning.
I played Tetris on the N64 about 6-7 years ago, and got around 300 lines, 430's my best. Then about last year, I play it again, and score a 640's on my first shot. I think that games do help in brain processing, as long as thats really all you are doing. Depending on your multitasking, you may have an overload, says my newsteam channel 5 about a month ago.
But I stick with playing games by themselves, unless its not very demanding and slow, such as rasing Chao on SA2B, I have that on my GameCube, and a Sonic Advance 2 in my GBA, basically, breeding two different Chao, and yes, I like to keep only one Chao in my neutral garden.
