very frigging true. Even if by some wierd stroke of luck they do manage to shut kazaa down, there'll be another one up in two months, TOPS.

And Synth, I don't think you can really compare this with funnling out $25 million into a swiss bank account. For obvious reasons.

There are already alot of other things out there besides kazaa. I myself have morpeus, it sux, and i know of a few others. There is monster, aimster, and alot more. I stoped file sharing and am only file stealling now so i am not so much looked for, because i dont use a program, i just go onto a computer that has what i want and take what i want, it is pretty simple, impling you know how. Kazaa is for the people who want to do it more legally but know the music industry is finding flaws in the legallity of the system, so just abandon the system and start with another or just stop all together.

no way, man. two reasons. first, everything else out there either SUCKS or you have to pay. Its true, i'm sorry. Not that Kazaa doesn't suck, its just that everything else sucks more. Secondly, and more important, I don't want to give the RIAA the satisfaction of knowing that they got to me. I'm not gonna let myself get intimidated at them, and if by some wierd chance and god hates me someday and I get caught, I'm going so friggin public with my rants its not even funny how much bad press they'll get.
