Busch Gardens SUCKS. Two good rides in the entire park. The rest of the park is just themed shows and random CRAP.

King's Dominion has more than a dozen roller coasters, half of which own both Alpengheist and Apollo's Chariot (Volcano? Flight of Fear? Hypersonic? No contest here folks).

But still, these parks aren't fun anymore and they still cost ~$40 to get into, which I'm not a huge fan of doing with a large group of people I've never met before in my life. A small meeting at an arcade would be much better.

Well, its not really expensive if you bring food with you. The most you'll pay is about $30 to get into BG. We then could stay there for half of the day then ride out to someone's house for the rest of the day.

I say no amusement parks. In my opinion we should meet up at a house or arcade and venture from there. We don't need to be at an arcade all day.

While KD has more roller coasters, they are worthless. Except "The Hurler", thats a good one... and Drop Zone, Thats good too. More roller coasters doesn't mean more fun either, the attractions at BG are BOSS and compare to the awesomeness of the roller coasters. I would even go as far as saying that "Corkscrew Hill"(BG) is more fun than "The Grizzly"(KD).

Anyway, I still like the idea of getting our own shit together and crashing somewhere.

An Idea. We could just plan this whole thing around an Anime Convention which would supply us with all the games and DDR we could handle, for just the entrance fee. Just a thought.

Despite the fact that we're all pretty much in agreement with no theme parks here...

HOW does BBW get an 8/10? Holy crap it's just a suspended coaster with small theming. It's terrible. It's an anti-climactic hunk o' junk. The only fun part about it is if you're in the 4th seat on the correct train because they mounted a G-force meter on that seat.

All of the themed shows / crap rides at Busch Gardens suck. They're boring and not intended for thrill-seekers. It's tastes and preferences here though. I want a ride that actually makes me get surprised the first time I ride it. The best one to do this to me so far is Dueling Dragons in Universal Islands of Adventure. That ride owns.

I won't say it just takes loops and quick turns for a good coaster, but the only REALLY good ride at BG is Alpengheist. The Chariot is fun once during the day and as many times as you can ride it after dark. But once you've memorized the track, it's boring. Try Millenium Force, Goliath, Magnum, etc. The concept of a hypercoaster is old news and it takes more than what AC has to offer to make it fun.

I say we go to Funland in Central Park in Fredericksburg, haha. Seriously, it's a nice place with ITG 2, two DDR EXTREMEs, phood, it's big and spacy and generally a good place for this sort of thing.
And if we go there on a Monday, extra tokens. =O
