Plus FunLand is nearly definately a much better place than anything you mentioned.

I usually get up at noon, PST. That's 3 out here on the east coast.

Well, I just found out that my mom and I will be goin to Katsucon this February. After careful planning, I have sucessfully turned my mother into an anime freak like me. So now she wants to go a convention. Maybe we can plan to meet there if anyone is going later.

Yeah, I got my mom into anime, and I got her to go to Otakon last year. Now she's like, "OMFG CONS PLZ". I'm up for the Katsucon thing though.

All you lucky people. My family knows I like anime, but that's not to say they understand why or care about it at all. My parents (age 42) are a little curious to know why I like it so much, but they certainly have no genuine care for it other than that. They liked the couple of Ghibli movies I've forced upon them (XD), but they still wouldn't go and watch them on their own free will.

I don't know if I can make it to Katsu this year, but I don't really mind anymore. If I go, it'll only be because some people from my college drag me along with them. XP
