Plus where would we sleep? All the beds are unsafe.

Now is the time where I make a witty comment that alludes to something sexual and having to do with Mal's Sister's broken bed.

Yes, as stated before.. Yall set it up, and I will be there. VCC sucks ass.. It has ITG and Extreme, but thats it for bemani. It's got a bunch of other games, just nothing worth it. Cloverleaf mall is closed. VCU campus as a solo machine. Putt-Putt has a nice extreme machine, but there is only 1. Im not too familar with the northern acades. Im sure there is an arcade at the beach that could have something awesome in it. What goes it up north? Anything worth visiting around there? Other than the already stated.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Virginia Venture?

I definitely see no reason to go up North. So I'll suggest a better plan. Why not postpone this until the Spring and we all meetup in Doswell, Virginia at King's Dominion or Williamsburg for Busch Gardens?

King's Dominion has about 5 DDR machines all over the park, while Busch Gardens has 6 DDR machines and 2 Drummania machines. Plus it's frickin King's Dominion and Busch Gardens! Sound like a good idea?

That's actually I really good idea. Aside from the heinously expensive food and the lack of a place to play Mafia.

Bag lunches, and why couldn't we play mafia after the theme park closes? It would be 100X better at night in some abandoned field.

I know a few places we could play Mafia. In my friends area there is a huge backlot of woods and constuction. It's not far away from us at all, either, so it should work.

Most people in the Northern VA area have Christmas break for about a week starting Friday, just to clue you guys in.

Edit: Christmas break here, lasts from Dec. 16th, to Jan. 3rd

Edit...again: I think the Doswell/Williamsburg suggestion was awesome, and I know quite a few fields/areas around here that we could use afterwards.

While Busch Gardens has more arcades and crap, they are extremely limited in the field of having good rides.

King's Dominion is making this cool, but expensive and pushed back to the summertime.

                          RE: Re: RE: Virginia Venture?

Theme parks? Paying money?! Pah! We should all just meet up at somebody's house that's right in the middle of us all, get high and play DDR. I imagine that would be trippy and fun and awesome.

                          And much lower cost.

As for sleeping places if we all decide to go and stay for a while, seriously, I will sleep just about anywhere. As long as somebody near the meetup has a house with a chair in it, I'm good to go. I've slept in chairs and various friend's houses due to lack of bed areas or me staying up way too late and passing out in the chair, so it'd be no big deal for me at all. Or we could always have a big orgy in the floor and sleep there.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Busch Gardens is a million times better than Kings Dominion. Therefor making BG the better choice.
I have a friend with a Girl friend whos family owns an abandoned barn. In the middle of nowhere. We went out there for halloween last year, and just walking around got me scared. Its equiped with corn field and everything.

Now, as said before, BG is expensive and so is KD. At $1 a game, thats rediculous. Why not just get some people together who own metal pads, and put them together and make our own ddr setups.

I agree with 87x, while I may have a job and money, not everyone does. We would probably be better off straying away from theme parks. If someone has a large space we could just bring and set up our own rigs.

As for a date, Spring break doesn't sound bad. Thoughts?
