We don't have a camera, so someone has to bring one.
Meetup inside the arcade area first. Later on we will venture into the park. It'll be hard to find you guys if we split up at the start.
And be prepared to spend over twenty five dollars at the front of the park. If we want to do everything as much as we can, and whatever we want, I think the price is either twenty two or twenty nine dollars.
EDIT: I'll be there an hour earlier so I can do some stuff with my Brother. I'll meet up with you guys at Noon inside the arcade.
As it ends up I can't go.
Funny how that last minute stuff always finds a way to
screw you over in the end. But it didn't seem like there
were very many people going anyways.
So i just got dropped off by Cenright, about 2 minutes ago.
It was just me, Cenright, and Snapps that went.
Quick summary, from what I can remember:
Cenright is now the father of a 7 year old son.
We met an intoxicated atendant named Nancy who said cute.
We owned an egotistical man on the DDR machine, who was freestyling Light Mode.
Gotta go for now. Pics from Cen and more from me later.
I get there 11:15, played around with the rubiks cube till Noon, when Snapps showed up and we spent a little time looking at my photography work from the past year and a half. This is where an employee comes in, asking if we were with the party group that was standing outside. Her name is Nancy, she looks somewhere between 22 and 25. After we tell her we were just using the table to look at photographs, she gives us an 'uh', and then hesitates there. Just before I can go back to talking to Snapps, she asks us if she can get us anything, we say maybe later. She turns to go, hesitates again, and says that if there is anything she can get us later, she will there. Snapps, being a regular 15 year old guy, knew something was odd, so I told him that she most likely thought we were cute.
I put away my photography work, and then sleepless got there. We started off small, getting Snapps to go on the slide.
Then we went out to the big UFO shaped ride that spins to pin you against the wall. Many of you know its original name as the Gravitron.
HERE is where we saw Nancy again. She thought that Snapps' brother was my son. She must have thought I was MUCH older, and asks my age, which is when I say 18. When she said the disclaimer, (No pregnant women) I say to her that I already gave birth to my son, and so am fine. She giggles up a storm, and then we hear "Cute" over the intercom, which she never turned off.
Well, I was attempting to stand up on the wall, but could only get up to a 'spiderman wall-squat' before I lost my balance and crashed back to the wall.
We then went on the ride that is on a big center motor that spins you vertically so that you are upside down. Here are a few small photos of Snapps and the ride.
After that, we went to the roller coaster, although I first needed water, because the two rides were made me feel sick. The ride was a little shakey, and so my knees suffered badly. Also, there were horizontal beams on the ride that make you want to duck, as it feels like you are about to be decapitated. Sorry, I have no photos of this. After this, Snapps and I had a slide race, which I just barely edged out.
After this slide, we went to the race track, where I was hugging the corner, and the person ahead of me was doing the same, but I was doing it much better, so even though I couldn't pass her, I kept giving her pushes. I attempted an outside pass, but I couldn't, and Snapps was close enough to me to push in and seperate me from my spot, but I closed him off, and only got a way with him sideswiping my tire. I tried my pass again, and he got past, but since I was still had the better track line, I was pushing on him now. When he tried to pass the girl, I took advantage to get my spot back. I could have come up on her and tried to push her into the wall so she couldn't make the turn, but I didn't want to be banned for full contact. It would have been the only way to pass.
On the way back to the pits, I had to hit the brake, missed it, dodged the girl in front of me, and got it the second time, just in time. (Those cars are so small, it is hard to hit the brake.) In fact, Snapps had trouble too, and slammed right into the back of me, as he missed the brake. He was banned from the Raceway. I don't have photos of this, sorry.
This is where we started out on Course 2 of the Mini-Golf. On hole 4, there was a swining obstacle over the hole, Sleepless hit the obstacle which kicked it up and back at him, he tried to dodge it but the airborne ball found his foot, ricocheted off of it, and somehow made it back to the hole, which means he made par. Around hole 6, Sleepless hit his ball so hard, it ricocheted back and went into the water behind us. He went to go get another ball, and while he was gone, I went after the ball. The ball later came in handy, when Snapps' younger brother joined us.
I can't remember which hole it was, but Snapps tagged a brick in Silver Sharpie, so I was compelled to take a picture of it.
The scores for this round were:
57 - Snapps
55 - Sleepless
44 - Cenright
After this game, we played DDR a bit, and I failed miserably, being that I haven't been on a DDR Machine in a long time. We also played 2 games of Air hockey, where the scores were:
1 - 7
2 - 7
(I kinda torched them both.)
After this, we went to play Course 1 of Mini-Golf, this time, with Snapps' younger brother to join us. His younger brother sent one into the water. Here is me climbing back over the fence from getting it. Snapps also made his second tagging of the day.
The scores (Overall Totals) for this round were:
40 (97) - Snapps
52 (107) - Sleepless
41 (85) - Cenright
49 - Snapps' younger brother
With Snapps' time running short, we decided to do the Gravitron again, and attempt to stand up. This time I gave Snapps the camera, and let him try to capture the Sleepless' and My attepmts. I got into great position of balance in a squat but when I shoved up to stand, I couldn't. I tried with all my strength, got a little bit higher, but then completely collapsed, and was slammed back into the wall. The first and second picture are me before the attempt. The third picture is me feeling sick after the attempt. (Too bad Snapps didn't get the picture of me in the actual attempt.) And the last is a self done photo. I beleve this was BEFORE he tried sitting up, because he looked a little green afterward. I was worse though. after being slammed back so hard, I had trouble walking out of the ride, and seemed to keep bumping into walls.
We finished the day off with the decapitating roller coaster, and then noticed the danger sign.
I guess we were right. I don't have a picture of the roller coaster, or of Snapp's third and final tagging, on the right inside of the 4th out of 6 cars, right where the outer elbow would be. (If you aren't getting them lopped off for having them out)
This was it for Snapps. He went home with his younger brother and dad, and Sleepless and I went back to the In-N-Out we always do after a Meetup. Here are our food shots, and of course, our regular cup shot. This is the first time I have actually eaten at In-N-Out. (If you remember last time, I brought my own food)
There you have it. The day cost me $25 dollars total. I would say that it was well worth it.
