Damn, the Mills was an excellent place for me to go, since I live so close by, and there wasn't a parental explanation. I agree is wasn't the best best to hang out, though we did spend a curiously long time at the air hockey. Count me in as a semi-black, mostly blue. Yea, i'm half beat up and almost dying, I guess.

How about we do it in Las Vegas? If we do it at the GameWorks here, I'm sure I could get us free time cards, seeing as two of the managers used to be my managers at GameStop and good friends besides.

Plus, I have a job and have already taken 2 weeks off, before I've even started. >_>

I don't think most of us could make that trip, for a 1 day thing. We would actually pay more in gas and other expenses that it wouldn't work out for us. Sorry.

I agree with sleepless that Gameworks was still a good place to meet because of location, and games. Unless a ton of people LOVE minature golf, then we might just have to deal with the Gameworks people. Besides, their incompetence was what got us 5 hours instead of just 2.


So here is our choice. We try Gameworks again, (I think I have an Idea on how the card failed the first time....) or we try the Minigolf place, and it looks like it has even more of the music games than GameWorks.

28 Miles from Ontario. I don't know who this would be better for, but I doubt it would be good for very many. I know that it is longer for Jewpin and I, (I still need to get Jewpin in here) but it is something to think about.

Hmm...you guys know I live like litterally right next to Camelot Golfland? I can walk there in less than 10 minutes! Yes! Forget that damn premium gas, I'm walking!

Anyways, Camelot isn't all that great. I only go there for DDR, Initial D, and Max Tuning. The Beatmania machines are always jammed or broken. Haven't been there in about 2 months so maybe it has changed. It's a big parking lot, for those of you who like to have fun with your car like me, great for donuts and accidently falling off the curb (woops!). There is pizza and such right in the place too, along with lazer tag for like 6 bucks a person. Minigolf is fun to screw the hell around in.

So yeah, I'll go soon with some friends and maybe get some pics, maybe more details as well if you want.

So there we go. Decisions, Decisions. Anyone want to try the Golf land? Or do we stay at Gameworks? Yes, we have to deal with the people at gameworks, but it was also those people that screwed up last time and gave us 5 hours instead of 2, which made the experience so much better.

I really want to go. But Thanksgiving? Come on, that's a family/gaming holiday.

At least in my town it is.

Every year on either the day before or after thanksgiving, we hold what has been named "ThanxGaming" and it's basically a huge console/PC LAN for a ton and ton of boys + me.
It's my senior year, and there's no way I'm missing out on it this year. I had to last year.
Therefore, if the convene is on ThanxGaming weekend, I cannot attend seeing as how it's my last thanksgiving at home and I'd like to spend it with family as well as gaming it up to the maxx. Paranoia Survivor style.

Ummmm, but seeing as how I'm applying to many colleges down there in socal, chances are, I will be living there within the next year, and will therefore make it a point to see each and every one of you. Zajac, that means you've gotta visit me before I leave.

But yeah. If it isn't on thanksgiving weekend, I'm sorry for the uber long post, but I'm too tired to catch up on the thread. I just saw my name tossed around here and there, and wanted to let you all know what I'm up to on the last date that I heard of. So, if thanksgiving isn't the planned date, consider yourself well informed of what I will be up to on that wonderful four day weekend.

If we did it at Gameworks, we would most likely do it on the monday or tuesday before thanksgiving, unless we had 10+ people. If it was Golfland, It could be any time that week.

i'm suprised on how few people go to this. Is it just for people the mods know or are song artists, or is this for any random FFR player to go to and meet up in a huge mall, wandering around and playing DDR? I finally noticed it, and it seems like a good idea. Just needs some more attention, like in the home page.
