Besides, there is NO WAY you are going to be able to look into my car as I speed by and see whether or not someone in the back seat (through the tinted glass mind you) has a seatbelt on or not. Crazy Michiganers.
Though I do agree with the safety issues of seatbelts and I do wear it all the time, there is no law about being pulled over for the driver's lack of a seat belt, or anyone over 16.
In fact, if you're over 16 in this state, you can legally ride in the back without one on. Not that anyone in my car will be doing this, but it's just a little-known rule.
