Not half bad for a first week, considering I flipped a coin because I didn't know who to pick seeing as its the first week (expect more coin flipping in the weeks to come). The only pick i'm disapointed in making was that I didn't pick the Bengals to win
. What the hell was I thinking, I was rooting for the Bengals way back in the preseason and I forgot to pick them.

If you flip a coin, you SHOULD come out to 50% at the end of the season. And even in 1 week you went 8-8... 50%.
The interseting thing is, should a few of us be well over 55% after the first few weeks, we should consider gambling. It takes a 55% winning percentage to break even in sports betting. When you win, you win 100%. When you lose, you lose 110%. Aka, 55%. Well, slightly less, considering you'll be winning more than losing, so you won't get hit with the extra 10% 50% of the time. But, 55% is the easy way to think of it, instead of like 54.7%, or whatever it is exactly.RIPComment

I'm not going to brag this week, mainly because I thought the Eagles got ripped off when Trotter got kicked out for slapping. So, I don't feel like I won that game fairly.
Coin tosses are retarded. Even though it's week one, you should have some idea.
I've done very well with this type pool in the past. I won $400 buck at my mom's work in this pool last year, maybe it's the Irish in me, dunno.
If Tass didn't go all under-doggish on Thursday's game, we would have tied. GG

I don't see whats wrong with the coin flipping thing. Last year I got around 75% right and did better than some of my friends. This is just how I decide the games that I don't know though. This year, I haven't had any time to watch, except for about 25 mins of the bears game on sunday and that was it.
Coming out 50% with flipping a coin is expected, its not bad and not good. I can't complain because of my lack of actual knowledge in the sport, but I'm getting better...
Hopefully next week will result in less coin flipping...we'll see.
