I started DDR way back in '01 a semi-local arcade had a Japanese 2nd/3rd mix, and DDRUSA. After about a year of playing, I found FFR, I think I had an older account, lost it, and then made this account... and yea, with the rest.. and the history.

umm, I remember searching stuff about ddr on google, got to ddrmaniax.net and they had a link to ffr on it, and then when you had to register to play I registered.
(I was only twelve when I registred too rofl)

Some Polish guy was yelling outside of my house one night, so I called the police. They arrested him. 2 weeks later, I joined FFR. Coincidence? I think not.

I was bored one day and checking out the new game update on addictinggames.com and found this. That was back in the day when there were like, eight dance songs, four arcade, two rock, and that was about it, a couple of funk and hip hop. But that was back in the good ol' days.

I joined FFR in February 2004, but it's close enough to December 31st, 2003 so I'm going to post anyway :/

Then say that. I just wanted to hear from people that might be able to remember the old beta, and not those that have a great chance of being huge n00bs. Not saying you are one. But after 2004, it got a little more mainstream.

I found this site through the tech tv webpage ((in the screensavers archives)) way before G4 decided to consume what was left on their channel.
I remember some things..

- being around the time when there was a vote on wether or not archowl should be allowed back into FFR.
- when they announced new songs being added to FFR and a few minor updates to the game
- that really gay-sounding announcer..
- Being somewhat of a noob ((like.. interpreting freak83's "welcome to the valley of the dead" introduction as with everyone else.))
- the time yanah made that stepfile to challenge arch and hiro.

and lots of other random things..
