Oh, and if anyone cares, my battery is now working beautifully. I'm getting SO MUCH LONGER battery life now. It's wonderful. If you think your battery is dying out AT ALL, seriously, get this- I'm mad at myself for not getting one sooner.

gtfo unless you know what you're talking about. I'm sick of people saying that iPods blow, just because it's the "anti-mainstream" thing to do. 5 bucks says you've never used one well enough to be able to judge it, yet you feel you can say they "blow" because it's the cool thing to do.

Are they overrated and overpriced? Sure! You'll never find somebody who bitches about how godamn lucky Steve Jobs is more than me. The man makes mistake after mistake, yet iPods still hold 70% of the market share. It's ridiculous! But arguing another music player is better or worse is one thing, saying that they just suck is something else altogether.

The battery life suits me fine, and I use my iPod everyday. I'll look to this though years down the road whenever the battery starts sucking more than it does.

I tend to get around 12 hours with this now, closer to the actual, you know, advertised battery life. But when you consider how I used to get ~4 hours on a good day, it's one hell of an improvement.
