I don't see why you all got iPods anyways. They suck in comparison to most other media players when it comes to storage, price, battery life, and the software on the device itself and how it organizes and handles the ID3 tags.

That in itself is funny.

It would be ironic if that rumor was completely ridiculous, which it's not. The phones I have gain bettery life when they're charged less often. Of course, this may be untrue for the iPod's case, but her comment is in no way 'proof of idiocy'.

I heard that the more you use your iPod, the longer your battery gets. After you've used it for a long time it's up to 12 hours, but that's just what I heard. I don't have one.

Actually, there is some truth in what jurs heard- as with all rechargable batteries, if you empty the battery, and fully recharge it- you will get better battery life for longer. I reccomend you discharge your battery completely, and then recharge it a couple of times during normal use- and you will see a notable performance improvement.

Looks like the cool A0 kids owned Jurs in their vast knowledge of electronics...

When I first got my cell phone it used to die in a matter of hours. After talking until a dead battery and recharging it to full for months, it now lasts the better part of a week without charging (without talking on it excessively of course).
