Hah. High School relationships are so stupid. Most of the time, they don't work out or end up in divorce. Most people aren't ready for relationships in high school. I am waiting to date until after or in my later years of college.

To Arch and kefit: I am fairly good at telling people off, but I only seem to be able to make good insults towards guys. I am not exactly "the ladies man" either, so I will have a very hard time getting another girlfriend before high school ends. My only real chances now are either getting back together with her or hoping someone that I like needs a date to senior ball.

Stop thinking about being with a girl. Its not all that important. You were living happily (I assume) before you met this girl, correct? If not, then there are other things you need to work out in your life before you should even begin to think about girls. If so, then there is nothing wrong with you being single for however long it is until another girl appears in your life, since you will be living happily until that occurs.

I really can't agree with Arch and Kefit. I think being friends with exes makes things easy. After all, she had some redeeming qualities, or you wouldn't have gone out with her. It may be hard putting your feelings aside for a while, but you'll get over it, and there won't be any hard feelings. I'm friends with all my exes (even the one who kept trying to cheat on me with my best friends), and it's great. They're good people, so I don't want to ditch good friends. Of course, my experiences are completely anecdotal, but, then again, so is Kefit's.

And this may sound really bad, but there may still be hope. I recently got back with my girlfriend from high school after we didn't see each other (and rarely talked) in three years. She even broke off an engagement in the meantime. The point is, we still had feelings for each other, so when we saw each other, we realized what we were missing. Anyway, that's my two cents.

I don't go to an all guy school, but I can understand how you would want to wait. Personally I think I'm ready but I don't want to get involved with someone for a few years, or at least when I'm out of High School. High School sucks.

I have like over 30 friends I regularly socialize with and hundreds of online ones so getting rid of one or two that caused me lots of emotional pain is not that hard for me

Yeah, I'm with Lego, I have few friends, but they are very close friends. And yeah, I was pretty happy before I started going out with her, but that was probably because I hung out with her anyway since we were friends. The thing is. once we started going out I was a lot happier than I was when we were just friends.
