My old library of U of C had like 7 floors, one of which was a gaming floor with about 30 high end gaming desktops, each floor had about 10 - 30 soundproof rooms that you can book for blocks of time and study, they had projectors, whiteboards, and big tables and were really cool.

SFU is shit, the library is shit, its super loud, old and you can't really ever find a spot to study.

This doesn't sound like a library at all unless this floor is entirely meant for studying video game mechanics... which doesn't sound like what would be going on because of "high end gaming desktops".

i always used to sleep at the library. this one section had some cozy armchairs that i would slouch in.

i'm too afraid people will steal my shit haha

Realtalk about Brown tho the sciences library is great in the top floors.

At the desks in the stacks on the 11th through 13th floors you can usually hear a pin drop.
Great place to study and never gets too crowded, not even during reading period


It's all about finding a place on campus. If your libraries are loud see if there are conference rooms, classrooms, or even a quiet part of a dorm or common room.
Prof's lounges are another option, if you know a prof and you say you need a silent space a lot of them are chill and say to work in their common areas/labs/offices
