My computer is going to be exactly 2 years old in about a week so I decided to just upgrade the core components.

-Gigabyte LGA 1150 Intel Z87
-Modular 80 PLUS Platinum AX760 PSU
-Intel Core i7-4770K Quad-Core Desktop

Also got replacement modular psu cables that are individually sleeved with green sleeves. Decided to go full on with the black/green aesthetics.



Either way it should be about a 50% increase in cpu power plus hyper threading for encoding video faster.

I bought an AX760 and replaced my RAM with black Corsair Vengeance. Bought a spool of rgb led strip lights which will come in on Thursday. Gonna line the inner border of my case with those.

Now I only need red corsair vengeance in the red ram slots on my motherboard, and maybe some red or red/black psu cables and I am completely done modifying my computer

Probably will be buying a Dyson Air Blade thing because its so fucking hot in the house.

Also bought a stand mixer so I could make soufflés

It's worth it in my opinion. You should do it. I wish there was more room for cable management in this tiny cube. At least it is all away from the components. That one cable next to the graphics card basically has to be there or my front audio port wont work.

My main computer is nice though. Wish I could do something about that stupid usb 3.0 cable. So bulky and stiff.
