I'm shocked so few people like spring according to the polls. Spring is when the warmer weather begins to appear (but not too hot), and the days grow longer. I love summer too, but by the time summer arrives, the days begin to grow shorter from there on in.

Probably because of spring allergies. I love summer, but I can barely go outside during the spring because of eyes burning / watering / itching.

I prefer fall. I still get moderate daylight and the temperature is mild. I dislike 90-100 degree weather so summer is actually my least favorite. With this year's drought, summer can just go away.

Fall is crisp and smells nice and the color of the leaves on the trees and on the ground is nice. There's still enough sunlight for it to not feel awful, and the temperature's perfect. There's just a really nice feeling about it all.

Winter is faaar too long and has no redeeming qualities except for pretty snow which also happens to be treaturous and it also never accumulates before January, 2 months after winter's already been around. It's a huge pain to put on a bulky coat and boots every time I want to go outside. It's even more annoying when you're indoors for more than a couple minutes dressed warmly (like grocery shopping), and you start to get hot and sweaty.
Also it thaws a fair amount here in winter so there's nearly always ice. The sidewalks are never cleared properly or are sheer ice from the recent rain/melt and you can't see around the snowbanks when driving anywhere in the city. Biking in winter's foolish. Winter sports are expensive. If I don't dry my hair it freezes. My skin is constantly dry. It gets dark way too quickly, and when it's sunny the snow's blinding. Car accidents are super common. I could go on.

Early spring is almost nice, since there's usually a ton of snow, the days actually have daytime again (ok I'm not nearly that far north but 15 hours of darkness is still depressing,) and the chilling weather's gone, and the best downhill is in the spring, and snow abounds. Except that by the time March rolls around the last thing I want is more snow.
'Nice' spring is at most a couple of weeks between when the leaves come out and the weather doesn't get hot. I don't think this year we ever got those weeks since late spring was super hot, such that I'd call it summer.
The rest of it it's disgusting outside as the melting snow reveals all the crap that accumulated over the winter. And theres a lot of it since in winter the roads get salted and sanded every snowfall. It's a barren, ugly, sandy wasteland except for the couple of people who plant crocuses.

Summer's just too hot because it's too humid. If I lived in a drier area I might rate it tops.

We have "winter" here in Michigan, but what are these other seasons of which you speak? The only other one we have is called "construction."

I like Fall and EARLY Spring. Best temperatures that I can actually stay outside and not go "Man... I want inside somewhere."

Summer can go away, lol. I really hate Michigan's summer. It's so humid since we're surrounded by lakes, aaaaaaaaaaah!

I think winter is definitely the best season, ever. Good thing I'm in a country where the seasons are "****ing hot", "My kangaroos just melted", "Jesus Christ it's hot", and "I'm getting frostbite in my pancreas", then.
