Overpowered means the gun is too powerful for the game. An example is the noob tube and arguable akimbo G18's. These weapons (at least in my opinion) made it FAR too easy to kill anybody cause you had to aim in a GENERAL direction and the opponent would be dead in seconds. OP is like a Dodge Neon racing a Lambo, not guns being more or less powerful from game to game. That's just the developers changing up the mechanics.Comment

IMO, I thought G18's weren't that overpowered, the recoil like forces you to use akimbo, and they don't do that well if you don't use stopping power. Or that could just be me, because I'm a stopping power whore, it's the only second perk I ever used.

Recoil is so much easier to control with a mouse though. On PC if somebody has G18's it's a cone of instant death even from quite a distance.Comment

While I was reaching 50 as an unprestiged player, I used this setup which led to the 2+ KDR..
Famas; Silencer
Strela-30 (for taking out enemy attack helicopters and choppers, I was a big TDM player)
Ghost
Sleight of Hand; Pro
Marathon
Now I prestiged and I've been playing hardcore search and destroy with a bunch of random guns like the M16 red dot sight and MP5k for rushing.Comment

ran this setup
AK74 silenced
revolver fast reload thingy, forget name of both
jammer/frag/decoy
hardline/sleight of hand/marathon pro
uav/counter uav/firestrike or whatever the firebombing is called
every few seconds i'd have uav/counter uav and used both so I'd be the only one knowing where anyone was, and I'd just rape the whole match

It's more of a skilled setup, averaging 40+ kill in HQ matches at the moment. But I don't get why you wouldn't use Sleight of Hand... It's borderline the most useful perk.Comment

I forgot to mention that too, I have a class with M14, red dot, silencer. It's a one shot and pretty accurate, perfect for hardcore. Just don't ever trigger finger when you miss, I've had some pretty embarrassing moments because of that haha. Oh and what makes you prefer the reflex sight over the red dot? I don't have a problem with that, it's just all it looks like is an acog and red dot put together, kind of funny looking
