To restate this wonderfully put statement, I'll compare it to my guitar experience.

Yes, I did start playing guitar because of Guitar Hero.

HOWEVER, I did not start thinking "I cn faiv stawr FREEBARD so I cn plai it n reel GEETAR AMIRITE?"

Ive been playing guitar for roughly 8 months now, and I will say that I still cannot play a majority of songs on the list. I have attempted, mind you, but RHCP is more my speed and liking for my style. I will say that I have gotten good at Jessica and almost have the solo down (ten times more of a pain in the ass then on GH) and in tempo. At least the ending trill is way easier

Ive still got a long way to go when it comes to guitar, but I appreciate and like playing both.

I personally hate Guitar Hero. Id rather play O2Jam or something.
The only thing good in the game are the songs!

guitar hero is fun, but its like way easy!!!!!! i played it for a few hours, and already got on expert...
